Overview
The Department of Nursing Foundation was developed in the year 2019 with the team of efficient faculty members. As like a mother helps the crawling child to walk, Nursing foundation has taken a great parade with the eminent faculty members in all cadres function from the beginning deliberately, dedicated with the team spirit till date aiming to bring our Institution as best out of all nursing colleges in and around the nation. The clinical services of the department include clinical supervision of students, patient care, in-service education, conduction of awareness programmes, health screening, clinical administration, and research activities. Our Spirit will continue forever….
Facilities
The Department of nursing foundations has a good infrastructure and learning resources to meet the academic requirements of UG students.
Class Room Facilities
The department provides pleasant and enthusiastic environment to the students with adequate seating, lighting, ventilation and AV aids like OHP, LCD, models, charts, specimens.
Lab Facilities
Nursing foundation lab is designed and well equipped to assist students in developing expertise and in-depth knowledge in the field of nursing. It is equipped with an adequate number of international Mannequins and simulators that help to amalgamate classroom teaching effectively. It is the practice area for students, where they perform all nursing procedures prior to the exposure to the clinical field.
Services / Activities
- The Department takes meticulous efforts in extending its support towards patient care services in the parent hospital and takes initiative in sustaining the quality and standards of practice in all perspectives of patient care.
- The Department also shows a keen interest in Evidence-Based Practice by triggering the research activities focusing on research thrust areas.
