Mental Health Nursing department is at the forefront of research, education, and practice, which improves the mental health and wellbeing of an individual, their families, and communities. The department takes initiative in fostering and strengthening the quality education to the undergraduate students and committed to preparing them as efficient Psychiatric Nurse.

The department provides a pleasant and dynamic environment for the students with adequate seating, lighting, ventilation and AV aids like OHP, LCD, models, charts, specimen and document camera.
Services / Activities
- Conducting Psycho-education and interactive sessions for inpatients and family members.
- Rally, Skit, Psychodramas and various competitions observed during World Mental Health Day, World Suicide Prevention Day and World Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
- Regular Outreach Programmes in the schools and community.
- Guidance & Counseling to the students
- Research thrust areas.
